10:49 am: please ignore the previous post concerning the end of Battlestar Galactica. This has be contradicted by the exec producer, the series will continue after the fourth season, and it (season 4) will be a real full season (22 episodes) instead of the 20 season episodes of the past.

Happy times

11:44 am: Son of a...
IESB reported from the 10th annual Saturn awards yesterday, and spoke with Battlestar Galactica stars Edward James Olmos and Katee Sackhoff. Olmos confirmed that, as far as the show that's been running so far, the fourth season will be the last one. It's currently slated to start airing in January of 2008. 'Olmos says "This will probably be the most extraordinary season of 'Battlestar'. It's the final season, so it's definitely going to be the most vicious. As far as we know, in respects of the way we have this show constructed, this is the final season." Sackhoff says "I think part of the problem is that it's an expensive show. It is [a great show], but we don't have the viewership that a great show should get."

01:11 am: My top 5 Celebrity crushes
It does seem a little silly, but one of my friends did it, and I thought what the heck.

My top 5 celebrity crushes (in no particular order):
Emily Deschanel
I mean, what can I say, big brains are a super turn on for me, and her character bones is incredible and she is super hot to boot.

Katee Sackhoff
Her character in BSG, Starbuck, is just awesome, very strong and kick ass. Really super sexy with short hair too, which is not normal for me. And I really need to give props to the Portland girl.

Alyson Hannigan
Ever since BTVS i've had a thing for her, love her red hair.

Summer Glau
She is the proof that crazy is super hot, with both River in "Firefly" and Tess in "the 4400". I really like her skin tone.

Jorja Fox
She has a great look, I really like it. Her eyes are really attractive to me, and her smile is super awesome.

That was fun, and a good waste of time

01:17 am: So watching the football game today I learned something. The facts behind the saying "It never rains at Autzen stadium." As it turns out over the last 18 years (that is the amount of time Head Coach Bellotti has been with the program, in one role or another) it has rained during a Ducks home game 7 times. Now that is an impressive feat in Oregon.

06:06 pm: So an update on my life. Classes are good, tough... but good. but that isn't the important part of this post. I went out on a date yesterday with a nice woman named Molly. We went and had a drink at the beer stein (which is right next to where one of my favorite restraunts is about to open, Noho's Hawaiian Cafe), and OMG do they have a lot of different beers. You could seriously drink a different beer every day for the better part of a year. The food there was good too. But getting back to Molly, she is really cool. She is a computer game loving nerd. And by nerd I mean we went back and forth naming off all of the people from the TNG command crew, and by that I mean the actors that played them. She plays WoW too. It is really awesome to chat with her over a beer or three. We have a second date this friday :) she is going to come over and watch Firefly (of which she has only seen the first episode). Well that is basically all that is new in my life.

Oil, Smoke & Mirrors.
"Oil, Smoke & Mirrors." on Google Video
"Oil, Smoke and Mirrors" is an independent 50 minute documentary on peak oil, 9/11 and the war on terror.

It is very well done and informative. Everyone should make the time to watch it.

09:32 pm: Aloneness
I am really tired of being so alone. I really need a hug. I really want a girl to snuggle with, to feel a warm body against mine, and perhaps someone to make out with.

maybe i will go out to the bars tomorrow... too bad I would prefer if i already had some connection to them, just picking up a random person seems weird to me... or perhaps i am just weird.
